Processing and properties of Nanostructured Materials

About the Subject:

Nanostructured materials research takes a materials science-based approach to nanotechnology, leveraging advances in materials metrology and synthesis which have been developed in support of microfabrication research. Materials with structure at the nanoscale often have unique optical, electronic, or mechanical properties.

Topics to be covered in this Seminar:

Classification of engineering materials-Tensile testing – Defects in solids–Mechanical Properties and processing - Engineering plastics– Polymer processing tools and process conditions- Metal/Ceramic Powder synthesis - Selection and characterization of powders.

Time to be planned :

1 or 2 days

Kind of program :

3D based Seminar and Guest Lecture for the Students
